Meet Harry Horler
Harry joins our team after completing his PhD at the University of Southampton. Harry loves to read in his spare time and his favourite book is The Dice Men.

What is your role at MAC?

I have joined the MAC team as an Engineer

What were you doing before joining the MAC team?

I was studying a PhD specialising in Machine Learning & Game Theory solutions to 5G Wireless Communication Challenges at the University of Southampton..

What do you enjoy about working at MAC?

Everyone is very friendly and welcoming, plus there are free biscuits every week! 😊

What is your specialist area of expertise?

I’ve not quite found that yet. I am enjoying broadening my experience in electronics and RF.

What does your job look like on a day-to-day basis?

Currently, I get to do a mix of programming, analysis and hardware tinkering.

What do you do in your free time?

I love game development, cooking & reading.

What is your favourite book or movie?

My favourite book is The Dice Man by the American novelist Luke Rhinehart.

What is your favourite meal?

Dak Galbi, which is a spicy chicken with cheese, rice cakes, cabbage and noodles. It is very popular in South Korea.

Tell us one thing your colleagues would be surprised to learn about you?

I am currently learning Korean!
